Joplin Arts Fest welcomes back jewelry artist Lee Brooks for our 10th Anniversary show at the Cornell Complex. Find her repurposed glass pieces on the Leggett & Platt Green on September 20 & 21!
“After gathering castaway glass objects, I cold cut or break them into shapes. Then they are tumbled to soften edges and bring back luster. After that they are painted, airbrushed, and/or embellished with soldered creations. I also create up-cycled aluminum and plastic jewelry and embellishments. Nature, geometry, and a passion to make the unwanted wanted again drive my designs.”
