Adult Gardening Class–Seed Saving

The growing season is coming to an end and entropy abounds. But YOU know that all the energy put into your spring and summer gardens should not go quietly into the night. That means learning about SEED SAVING. Join us to discover how to collect and store seeds at this, the season’s end. A big plus–this will make you the star of the show at the 2025 Seed Swap!
It doesn’t matter if you are a new or experienced gardener, we would love to welcome you to the teaching garden at Empire Market this season. These classes are come and go–whether you have 15 minutes or an hour, our Master Gardeners can aid you!
Winter classes will be held in the market building.
Master Gardeners Eric and Debbie, of Jasper County Master Gardeners Association, will lead discussions surrounding the major topics of home gardening, as well as provide hands-on learning. Their expert advise and knowledge can help you get started or further your efforts in growing your own foods and native gardens.
